Job Summary
Hardware Design Engineer II responsible for circuit and subsystem architecture, modeling, simulation, verification, and integration/testing at component, CCA, and subsystem levels for Raytheon RTX radar receiver/exciter/transmitter hardware. Role includes transition to production, collaboration with systems/mechanical/manufacturing engineers, occasional travel to supplier or customer sites, and on-site work in MA (Tewksbury or Marlborough) with potential inter-site travel. Requires hands-on experience in digital/analog hardware, mixed-signal design, test planning, and proficiency with design tools (HyperLynx, LTSpice, Matlab, Mentor Xpedition). Must be able to obtain Interim Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in digital design or RF/analog design
- Production testing and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with design and analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx, LTSpice, Matlab) and design development tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics Xpedition)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility
- Active or existing Secret security clearance (preferred)
