Job Summary
Debug hardware and system-level issues by leading validation of new drive designs through board-level signal/power measurements, mechanical testing, and thermal analysis. Support interoperability and debug Pure Storage devices in customer systems while performing failure and root cause analysis to address field issues and factory defects. Analyze and document test results, then collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements. This role supports the Pure Engineering Team's mission to build high-performance, mission-critical storage products for demanding applications.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Hardware/System validation and debug
- B.S. Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Python and BASH scripting experience
- Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, VNA, protocol analyzer, power load/analyzer, current probes, soldering rework etc...
- Understanding of PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, I2C protocols
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Everpure's policies
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. (M.S. is a plus)
- Experience working on enterprise systems (storage/server a bonus)
