Job Summary
Configure, maintain, and improve Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support production operations and shopfloor digitalization. Manage product data, workflows, routing, and traceability while developing dashboards and reporting tools for performance indicators. Support Andon solutions and packaging control systems, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot MES, Andon, and packaging issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work in a hybrid environment at the Bosch R&D Center in Braga, requiring international travel and fluent English skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a production environment
- Knowledge of production processes, industrial automation, and manufacturing systems integration
- Knowledge about C/C++, Python
- Knowledge agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Fluent English skills

- Experience with PLCs, industrial networks, and shopfloor digitalization
- Understanding of traceability, packaging systems, and quality requirements
- German
- Willingness to travel internationally
