Job Summary
Sell merchandise on the sales floor, advising customers on price, features, and accessories while assisting with carry-outs and specialized ordering. Provide product knowledge across automotive, electrical, plumbing, housewares, power equipment, and agricultural categories. Handle routine telephone inquiries, perform floor maintenance, and ensure safekeeping of inventory. Participate in receiving, displaying, and restocking merchandise using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Prepare for and execute inventory cycle activities and resets. Must have proven knowledge of horses and tack, ability to lift 75 pounds, and experience with retail sales techniques.
