Job Summary
Hardscape Laborer responsible for installing and finishing outdoor hardscape features (patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps) using concrete, brick, stone and related materials. Read blueprints/schematics to prepare layouts; operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment; perform grading, excavation, and form setting; install pavers and decorative elements; assist with caulking, sealing, finishing concrete, stucco/plaster; ensure safety, quality, and timely project completion through collaboration with supervisors and team.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction safety practices
- Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry techniques including tile laying and brickwork, as well as carpentry skills such as trim carpentry and door hanging
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, bending, and climbing
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in hardscape installation projects
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and project deadlines
