Hardgoods Supervisor (Full-Time)

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned departments, ensuring high-level customer service and execution of GT System policies. Manage team training on daily procedures including SKU, pricing, and RF unit usage, while leading merchandising activities and inventory management. Complete ordering and replenishment, participate in cycle counts, and provide input on scheduling and quantification. Resolve customer complaints professionally, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure loss prevention and compliance for tobacco and lottery sales. Open and close the store on a rotating basis. Full-time role with 35-40 hours weekly, day shifts, two evenings, and alternating weekends. Located at 612 La Ronge Avenue, La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
- Proven motivator / team leader
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective customer service, communication and interpersonal skills (with employees, customers, vendors, other third party)
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Strong merchandising and analytical skills
- 1-3 years retail management experience or equivalent Giant Tiger experience as a keyholder
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.)
- Must be able to stand and/or walk
- Must be able to bend, twist, and squat
- Must be able to perform tasks involving firm grasping
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions
- Must be able to reach above shoulder height and below waist level
- Must be available for day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends
- Must be available for a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly
- Must be available for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis
