Job Summary
Sun & Ski Sports is seeking a driven Hardgoods Coordinator to lead the Bike & Snow departments, supervising staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving department sales through data-informed planning. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store as needed, training and developing team members, providing high-quality bike service, implementing strategic plans to increase sales, maintaining an appealing department, identifying operational problems and presenting viable solutions, enforcing policies, attending Bike & Snow clinics to maintain product knowledge, representing the brand within local biking and snow sports communities, participating in events, maintaining communication with leadership to align with company initiatives, upholding loss prevention standards, and ensuring accurate cash control.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of management experience
- 2+ years of retail bike shop and snow sports industry experience
- Outdoor Enthusiast with a passion for cycling, skiing/snowboarding, water sports, surfing, swimming, skating, skateboarding, and more!
- Proven talent in networking, recruiting, interviewing, training, and team development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with vendors, buyers, store teams, and upper management.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multi-task effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
