Job Summary
Lead the Bike & Snow departments by supervising store operations, including opening and closing, while ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality bike service. Train team members in selling strategies, develop strategic plans to increase sales through data analysis, and maintain a visually appealing department meeting company standards. Identify operational problems, present viable solutions, and ensure all employees follow policies and loss prevention standards. Attend clinics to maintain product knowledge and represent the brand within local cycling and snow sports communities. Support bike and cycling events to strengthen community relationships, maintaining ongoing communication with store and district management.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- 2+ years of retail bike shop and snow sports industry experience, with working knowledge of business operations and shrink reduction
- Proven talent in networking, recruiting, interviewing, training, and team development
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with vendors, buyers, store teams, and upper management
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multi-task effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
