Job Summary
Provide in-home respite care and sitter services to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, supporting needs such as meal prep and personal care while engaging them in chosen activities like arts, crafts, and outdoor play. Impart the agency philosophy of equal opportunity and independence to families and community resources, serving as a professional role model who ensures the dignity and safety of all participants. Maintain confidentiality, follow OPWDD guidelines and incident procedures, and report issues to the supervisor promptly. Complete monthly documentation and participate in required training and department meetings. This itinerant part-time position requires evening and weekend availability, a valid NYS driver's license, and local travel to partner agencies across the Finger Lakes Region.
Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications
- One year experience and/or education in human services preferable
- Prior experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and autism is preferred
