Hankering for More Social Work Internship

Social Work Internship at YAI seeking current students. Responsibilities include research and program development, supporting baseline and post-intervention assessments for Hang Out SDH members, data entry, reviewing and summarizing research, implementing annual feedback surveys, grant writing, and compliance. Internship involves coordinating with the agency, maintaining member files, writing objective case notes and monthly summaries for a caseload, co-facilitating Saturday events and social skills groups, guiding social solutions discussions, developing curricula for psycho-educational or social capital groups, providing brief therapy-style social coaching, coordinating care with Social Worker, and contributing to newsletters and social media. The role is located in Manhattan, New York, and is unpaid and open to current students only.
