Job Summary
Handyperson on an on-site maintenance team responsible for routine repairs, cleaning and sanitizing, preparing vacant units for timely rental, snow/ice removal, and monitoring/maintaining safety and mechanical systems. Works closely with the on-site Superintendent and POP Management staff, participates in special projects, attends staff trainings, and may cover front desk as needed. Requires ability to read, write, and speak English, FDNY Certificate of Fitness within 6 months, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexible hours including weekends/evenings/holidays for a 24/7 program.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Fitness from the FDNY as appropriate to the work site is required within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull weight up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
