Job Summary
Handyman role with House Doctors in the greater Hartford area. Responsibilities include completing handyman and home improvement projects (repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.), organizing and managing equipment for daily tasks, delivering exceptional customer service, and representing the company in the local community. Requires hands-on experience or aptitude in handyman tasks, ability to operate basic computer programs, a strong work ethic, dependability, and physical ability to perform labor including lifting 50+ lbs. Valid driver’s license is required. Perks vary by franchise location.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of labor and customer service experience
- Hands on with knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry
- Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Valid driver's license
