Hand Therapy Supervisor

Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and oversee clinical care for hand therapy patients across outpatient locations. Direct supervision of all occupational and physical therapists on the team, including interviewing, hiring, training, and managing performance. Lead the transition to L-code billing practices through staff education, workflow development, and collaboration to ensure accurate, compliant billing. Coordinate continuous quality improvement initiatives, optimize charge capture, and maintain regulatory compliance with hospital policies. Manage staffing, productivity, and documentation standards while providing mentorship to therapy staff and interns.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in hand therapy
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Current and valid license to practice in Oregon in either Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
- American Heart BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a diverse team
- Advanced knowledge and skills in rehabilitation hand therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical and operational needs
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
- Comprehensive knowledge of L-code billing procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to implement a flexible schedule to meet operational needs

Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare administration coursework or degree
- 2 years of recent formal or informal leadership experience
- Union experience
