Hand Therapist -Outpatient - West Flagstaff

Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments through chart reviews and test interpretation, then deliver treatments and implement care plans following established protocols. Manage patient progress by participating in care conferences, developing goals with families, and delegating tasks to support staff while maintaining supervision. Document all responses to treatment sessions, update discharge plans, and complete departmental documentation per policy. Serve as a resource for peers through mentoring and educational seminars, ensuring compliance with safety reporting tools and state regulations. Maintain current certifications, attend mandatory training, and meet productivity goals while collaborating within the multidisciplinary team at Flagstaff Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree, Preferred
- Current Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Understanding of computers
- Competence in using computers and basic software programs

- Ability to attend quarterly retreats
- Ability to report any safety-related incident in a timely fashion
- Ability to attend all safety-related training programs
- Ability to perform work in a safe manner
- Ability to monitor work environment for possible safety issues
- Ability to ensure others are performing work in a safe manner
- Ability to stay current and comply with state and federal regulations/statutes
- Ability to comply with company policies
- Ability to ensure all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid
- Ability to complete all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training
- Ability to complete charges in a timely manner
- Ability to meet productivity goals according to departmental standards
- Ability to respond to new orders promptly
- Ability to adhere to regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety
- Ability to attend 75% of monthly department meetings
- Ability to review minutes, ask questions as needed, and review handouts
