Job Summary
Provide comprehensive evaluations and surgical and non-surgical treatments for hand and upper extremity conditions, including outpatient clinic, inpatient consultative services, and emergency call coverage. Perform surgical interventions such as fracture fixation, tendon and nerve repairs, arthroplasty, reconstructive procedures, microvascular surgery, and arthroscopy; offer non-operative management when appropriate; provide inpatient consults and ED evaluations; participate in shared call rotation; collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, primary care physicians, occupational/hand therapists, radiologists, and hospital staff.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery
- Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current DEA & CDS registration
