Job Summary
Provide comprehensive evaluations, surgical and non-surgical treatments for conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm, and upper-extremity nerves across outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and emergency coverage. Perform surgical interventions including fracture fixation, tendon and nerve repairs, arthroplasty, reconstructive procedures, microvascular surgery, and arthroscopy. Offer non-operative management when appropriate (injections, splinting, therapy referral, conservative care) and participate in shared call rotation. Collaborate with orthopedic and plastic surgeons, primary care physicians, occupational/hand therapists, radiologists, and hospital staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery
- Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current DEA & CDS registration
