Job Summary
Hand Surgeon needed to provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and peripheral upper-extremity nerve structures. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic care, inpatient consults, emergency call coverage, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Procedures include fracture fixation, tendon/nerve repairs, arthroplasty, reconstructive procedures, microvascular surgery, and arthroscopy, with non-operative management when appropriate. Collaboration with orthopedic and plastic surgeons, primary care physicians, occupational/hand therapists, radiologists, and hospital staff is essential. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Hand Surgery Fellowship
- Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery
- Active state medical license or ability to obtain
- Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery or eligibility
- Current DEA & CDS registration
