Job Summary
Stage prepreg kits, tools, and hardware; manage freezer inventory; and execute pre-lamination steps including kit thawing, mold identification, and laser setup. Maintain clean work centers, monitor consumable levels, and submit work stoppages or redlines as needed. Respond quickly to technician requests for tools and parts while attending daily standups. Perform 4S+S maintenance and audits to support takt time and part quality. Work all shifts, including Monday through Thursday mornings, evenings, and weekends, with responsibilities requiring continuous standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience working in fast-paced, time sensitive environments
- Demonstrated abilities following standardized work instructions, technical requirements, and executing standard processes
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
- Continuous standing, squatting, bending, pulling, twisting, and lifting throughout the workday
- Lifting of 50 lbs. or less
- Must wear PPE when required
- Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials and able to become certified to wear a respirator
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
- Ability to become forklift, crane, or equipment certified
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in a high-volume production environment that relies on a well-defined process to achieve maximum efficiency
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S environments
