Job Summary
Conduct teller transactions including deposits, check cashing, loan payments, and cash advances while maintaining accurate daily cash drawer balancing and reporting. Manage safe deposit box access and perform paying/receiving functions with proper authorization for transactions exceeding your authority level. Reconcile errors or discrepancies and ensure compliance with all VACU policies, including Security, Information Security, BSA, OFAC, and Risk Management requirements. Complete ongoing enterprise-level training and report any policy violations. Work Saturdays from 8:30am-1pm, Monday through Friday from 8:45am-6:30pm, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling/business experience
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding of products and services offered by financial institutions
- Satisfactory computer skills
- Cash handling/business experience, preferably at a financial institution
