Job Summary
Welcome guests with a friendly attitude, prepare and stock the breakfast area, and maintain fresh, organized food throughout the morning. Keep tables, counters, and serving areas clean and inviting while paying attention to guests who need assistance. Follow food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards, and inform guests about hotel services, directions, and amenities. Work any day of the week from 5am to 12pm, including holidays and weekends, lifting items up to 20 pounds and communicating effectively with guests and co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work any day of week, 5am - 12pm, holidays and weekends included
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching
- Some exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Great relationship building skill and salesmanship
- Practice the Basics of Brilliant Hosting at all times
- Inform guests about hotel services, directions, and amenities
- Help create the kind of breakfast experience guests remember for the right reasons
- Friendly, dependable, and welcoming
- Comfortable working independently and staying busy
- Organized and able to keep up during a busy breakfast
- Someone who notices the little things
- Professional in appearance and attitude
- A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance
