Job Summary
Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device across various retail locations. Perform department resets by installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections, often during evenings or weekends. Support seasonal demand by working extended hours and on holidays like Valentine's Day and Christmas. Collaborate with store teams to maintain product placement and assist fellow merchandisers as needed. Operate a digital hand-held device to report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
- Lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available for the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support
- Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday
- Must be able to climb stairs and step ladders
