Job Summary
Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside department stores using a mobile device. Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain stock levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Perform service work across grocery, drug, and mass retailers while maintaining professional interactions with employees and customers. Operate a digital hand-held device to report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required merchandising activities. Availability for holiday support, extended hours, and weekend work is required, including potential on-site work during Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. This physically demanding role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working on selling floors and back stockrooms. As part of a network of merchandisers, you may support other team members in your territory.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
- Lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available for the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support
- Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday
- Must be able to climb stairs and step ladders
- Must sign the Employment Agreement
- Must sign an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program
- Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
