Job Summary
Supervise a team of 5-10 Retail Merchandisers to ensure well-maintained card departments and timely execution of seasonal programs across grocery, drug, and mass retail stores. Direct minor installations including fixture building, product resets, and major moves for store relocations or remodels. Handle retailer concerns, merchandiser performance issues, and document team feedback by coordinating with store management. Manage administrative duties and lead department resets while maintaining strong customer relationships. This part-time role requires 12-18 weekly hours with full holiday coverage and involves lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read, understand and communicate in English
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
- You have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
- You have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
- Flexibility to work a changing work schedule that may include an occasional evening or weekend
- Required to work the week before and the week after major holidays
- Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion
- You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday
- You may be required to climb stairs and step ladders
- Must be able to motivate both in-person and remote teams

- Must document and manage performance with manager feedback and input
- Must handle retailer concerns, retail execution issues and retail merchandiser performance issues by working with store management, retail merchandisers and/or your manager
- Must prepare, direct and follow-up on minor installation which involve resetting product, building fixtures and merchandising product
- Must lead or participate in major installations when business exceptions require additional support
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

- Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- Must sign the Employment Agreement
- Must sign an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program
- Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
