Job Summary
Hallmark Field Merchandiser (Part-Time) in Fairfield, CT: Independently manage and optimize Hallmark product placement and inventory within assigned retail stores, collaborate with store teams for seasonal resets and installations, and support opportunities to work with other products in stores. Responsibilities include daily merchandising activities using a handheld device to restock and monitor inventory, maintaining quality displays, engaging professionally with store staff and customers, and supporting holiday-driven shifts (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) with possible weekend hours. Role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, stocking and moving fixtures, and occasional evening/weekend work. Training is provided, with paid instruction; part-time employees may access voluntary benefits and annual pay increases. Requirements include being able to read/write English, lifting ability, access to Wi‐Fi and transportation, and a flexible schedule that accommodates major holidays. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to grasp, lift, and carry products up to 50 pounds (30 pounds frequently)
- Able to operate a digital handheld device to read documents and information
- Access to a Wi‐Fi network and internet
- Access to transportation to travel to and between assigned stores
- Part-time availability with a variable schedule including weekends/holidays as required
- Ability to perform merchandising tasks including stocking, organizing, inventory monitoring, and displays
- Comfort working in retail environments across various store types
- Strong customer-facing communication and professional interaction with store teams
