Job Summary
Perform service work in Hallmark departments across various retail stores by removing product, dismantling fixtures, and assembling displays. Utilize a mobile device to communicate with supervisors, monitor inventory, and complete surveys for assigned reset and installation activities. Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain stock levels while representing the organization professionally. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas is required. This physically demanding role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must live within the Garland, Mesquite, Terrell, Forney, Cedar Hill, Waxahachie, and Desoto area.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
- Must live within the geographical area of Garland, Mesquite, Terrell, Forney, Cedar Hill, Waxahachie and Desoto
- Must be available to travel to work within the area
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for evenings
- Must be available for holidays including Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- Must be able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday
- Must be able to climb stairs and step ladders
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
- Must sign the Employment Agreement
- Must sign an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program
- Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
- Must successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
