Job Summary
Assist teachers with instructional, clerical, student management, and daily life activities for special education students in special education or general classrooms. Participate in training provided by the Special Education Department and supervise students in community settings. Maintain strong office, computer, and communication skills while relating well with students, staff, and parents. Work shifts typically between 7:15am and 3:30pm during the school year, with exact times varying based on school needs. Candidates must possess knowledge of child guidance principles, basic instructional methods, and a positive attitude to complete tasks independently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with students with special needs
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of students
