Job Summary
Experienced Hair Stylist/Barber/Colorist sought for The Spa inside The Hotel Blackhawk. Responsibilities include cutting hair using basic and advanced techniques, consulting customers about styles and colors, and applying hair care products. Tasks include washing, rinsing, and drying clients’ hair; performing coloring techniques such as highlights, Balayage, and Ombre; creating hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks; applying treatment products; building relationships with loyal customers; managing bookings and handling walk-ins; and ensuring tidiness and sterilization of tools. Proficiency with professional equipment and staying current with styling trends are valued, along with cross-selling hair care products or services when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE LICENSED IN IOWA
- Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Barber, Colorist, or similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curler preferred.
