Job Summary
Provide professional hair, nail, and skin services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, recruit new customers, and maintain client records. Deliver quality technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and address customer service issues professionally. Participate in weekly in-salon training and outside education classes to advance industry knowledge. Perform basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning, stocking, and organizing client cards. Ensure the work area meets State Board Regulations and maintain a professional appearance adhering to dress code. Possess a valid, current board-certified license and two to five years of cosmetology experience. Work in a high-traffic Belk mall location throughout the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry
