Job Summary
Provide professional hair care and treatment services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, build a client base by recruiting new requests, and maintain customer cards. Deliver quality technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and respond professionally to customer service issues. Complete ongoing continuing education on products and industry trends, ensure personal work areas meet state board regulations, and perform basic salon housekeeping duties. Organize time and resources to meet sales targets while communicating effectively with management regarding issues and needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
