Job Summary
Provide salon clientele with professional services relating to the care and treatment of hair, nails, and skin. Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals while acknowledging clients promptly upon arrival. Build a client base by recruiting new clients and maintaining customer files. Respond professionally to customer service issues and address complaints immediately. Perform basic salon housekeeping duties including cleaning, stocking, and updating client cards. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations. Maintain an updated professional appearance and adhere to the salon dress code. Possess a valid and current board-certified license with at least two years of experience in the cosmetology industry.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
