Job Summary
Hair Stylist provides various hair services and treatments including haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling to enhance guest experience and drive service/product sales. Responsibilities include educating clients on LifeSpa and Salon offerings, staying current with industry trends and certifications, promoting products/services, maintaining salon standards, and performing services with quality and safety. Must have completed cosmetology training, hold an active state cosmetology license, and be able to work part-time while handling duties such as client consultations, service recommendations, and basic retail sales.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completed Cosmetology school
- Cosmetology license in state where work is performed
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist
- Ability to perform various hair services and treatments
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions
