Job Summary
Provide professional hair, nail, and skin services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, build new client bases, and prescribe appropriate retail products. Address customer service issues and complaints professionally. Maintain personal work areas and salon compliance with State Board Regulations, including cleaning, stocking, and organizing client cards. Complete weekly in-salon training and participate in outside education classes. Possess a valid board-certified license and two to five years of industry experience. Work full-time hours in a high-traffic mall location within Belk's vibrant, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
