Job Summary
Provide professional hair, nail, and skin care services to salon clientele while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly upon arrival, build a client base by recruiting new requests, and maintain customer cards. Deliver quality technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and respond professionally to service issues or complaints. Perform basic housekeeping duties including cleaning, stocking, and updating client cards. Ensure the work area meets State Board Regulations and maintain an updated professional appearance. Complete weekly in-salon training and participate in outside education classes. Possess a valid board-certified license and two to five years of industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry
