Job Summary
Provide professional services relating to the care and treatment of hair, nails, and skin to salon clientele. Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals while acknowledging clients promptly and building a client base through recruitment and maintaining customer cards. Deliver quality technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and respond professionally to customer service issues and complaints. Conduct ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current industry issues. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet State Board Regulations, perform basic housekeeping duties including cleaning and stocking, and effectively organize time and resources to meet sales goals. Communicate with management regarding issues and needs while maintaining an updated professional appearance and adhering to salon guidelines for attendance and dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
