Job Summary
Provide salon clientele with professional services relating to the care and treatment of hair, nails, and skin while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Acknowledge clients promptly, build a client base by recruiting new requests, and maintain customer cards. Deliver quality professional service through technical skills, prescribe appropriate retail products, and respond professionally to customer service issues. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet State Board Regulations, perform basic housekeeping duties, and organize time and resources effectively. Maintain an updated professional appearance and communicate with management regarding issues and needs. Possess a valid board-certified license and two to five years of industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
