Job Summary

Perform haircuts, blowouts, styling, and treatments including coloring, highlights, and keratin services while maintaining strict hygiene standards. Administer deep conditioning and scalp treatments to improve hair health, and recommend suitable products from a wide range of care items. Collaborate with receptionists and other staff to ensure smooth salon operations and build rapport for client retention. Stay updated on the latest trends through continuous education to deliver exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Knowledge of a wide range of hair care products and their application techniques
- Commitment to maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to adapt to different client preferences, hair types, and styling trends
- Formal training and certification from a recognized cosmetology or hairstyling school
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working as a hairstylist in a salon environment
- Proficiency in a variety of hair cutting, styling, and coloring techniques
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for the art of hairstyling
- Valid cosmetology license or hairstylist certification (if required by local regulations)
