Job Summary
Assist Licensed Colorists and Shift Leads by executing shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, hot tool styling, and toner services while mastering color theory and behind-the-chair application skills. Support guests through consultations, product education, and unlimited roots membership sales to drive revenue and meet monthly retail and service goals. Maintain salon cleanliness, inventory standards, and asset security while adhering to company protocols. This role trains candidates for promotion to Licensed Colorist within 3-9 months, requiring an active cosmetology license and availability at peak times. Full-time and part-time positions offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $28.50 to $30.50, plus commissions, tips, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying
- Entry level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment
- Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment
- Comfortable operating point of sale systems
- Fluency in English
- Availability at peak times
- Full or part time availability depending on business needs
