Job Summary
Assist Licensed Colorists and Shift Leads by executing services such as shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, hot tool styling, and toner applications while ensuring the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness and merchandising standards. Contribute to monthly sales goals by driving revenue through retail sales, unlimited roots memberships, and subscriptions, and demonstrate teamwork skills aligned with company values. Master color theory and behind-the-chair application skills through the Assistant Colorist to Colorist Training program to prepare for promotion within 3-9 months. This role supports a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure, fostering a focused environment while adhering to Madison Reed systems and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying
- Entry level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment
- Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment
- Comfortable operating point of sale systems
- Fluency in English
- Availability at peak times
- Full or part time status depending on business needs
