Job Summary
Assist Licensed Colorists and Shift Leads by executing shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, hot tool styling, and toner services while ensuring guest experience from arrival to departure. Master color theory and behind-the-chair application skills through the Assistant to Colorist Training program to support seamless service delivery. Contribute to monthly sales goals by driving revenue through retail sales, memberships, and subscriptions, while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory security. Adhere to company protocols and systems to foster a focused work environment. Full or part-time availability required at peak times.
Required Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state in which you are applying
- Fluency in English
- Availability at peak times
- Full or part time status depending on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Entry level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment
- Salon or beauty industry experience
- Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment
- Comfortable operating point of sale systems
- Willingness to learn and complete the Assistant Colorist to Colorist Training
- Mastering color theory
- Developing behind the chair application skills
