HADS Programmer II

Support the Project Manager for the Hydrometeorological Automated Data System by maintaining primary and backup servers, ensuring connectivity and security of dedicated circuits, and monitoring IT security controls. Diagnose and resolve operating problems on the HADS local network, analyze ADP equipment for replacement recommendations, and rapidly address hardware and software vulnerabilities. Perform primary Database Administrator duties for NEXHADS and Decoded data databases, manage data acquisitions from Geostationary Operations Environmental, and troubleshoot information flow between computer systems. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging while consulting with users to clarify program objectives.
