Job Summary
The Hadoop Developer role requires skills in R, Java, and HBase, with mandatory proficiency in at least two of these technologies. Candidates must be able to create tables in Hbase and load data into HBase using pre-existing MapReduce jobs. The role also demands hands-on experience in writing R scripts and Java programs for performing read, write, and delete operations in Hbase, along with experience in writing MapReduce programs. Strong communication skills are essential. The contract duration is between 3 to 6 months, and the interview process will be conducted via phone and Skype.
Required Qualifications
- Skills in R, Java and Hbase (Any 2 of 3 is mandatory)
- Ability to create tables in Hbase
- Knowledge of loading data into HBase using MapReduce jobs
- Hands-on knowledge of writing R scripts and Java programs to perform Read, Write, and Delete operations in Hbase
- Hands-on knowledge of writing MR programs in Java or R if needed
- Strong communication skills
