Job Summary
Provide support with daily routines and personal care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while helping them build life skills and maintain independence. Offer encouragement, consistency, and meaningful companionship to foster confidence and strengthen everyday abilities. Support engagement at home and within the community to promote greater independence. This role requires at least one year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work various shifts with reliable transportation. Starting pay is $16.00/hr with flexible scheduling and short commutes in Winston-Salem, NC.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities
- Willingness to travel between clients within your assigned area
