Job Summary
Provide active treatment to clients by training and assisting with areas in individual program plans, including self-care, community living, and integration. Teach clients to use community resources and support daily living activities such as personal hygiene, feeding, and housekeeping. Assist with social and recreational program activities throughout the day. Perform a 2-person lift as needed. Maintain wakefulness for the full duration of the shift. This role supports people with disabilities at Clearbrook's Intermediate Care Facilities in Rolling Meadows.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid IL driver's license
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to perform a 2-person lift
- Must be available for Monday-Wednesday 11pm-9am & Thursday 2:30pm-11pm shifts
- Must be available for weekends
Desired Qualifications
- *previous experience with behavior disorders and autism related issues preferred
