Job Summary
Habilitation Aide responsible for implementing each individual’s Individualized Program Plan, including assisting with personal hygiene, dining, ambulating, transportation, behavioral support, and overall health and well-being; collaborates with supervisor and Service Planning Team to ensure services meet expressed needs and preferences. Provides daily support in a Day Habilitation setting and aligns activities with the individual's goals, while upholding DEI values and maintaining a safe, respectful work environment. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, in Corning, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills
- One year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Pathways insurability guidelines
- Must meet Criminal History Record checks requirements (fingerprinting for certain roles)
