Job Summary
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards while ensuring personal appearance remains professional with a clean, pressed uniform. Organize and restock the cart at shift start and end, then deliver requested items to guest rooms. Make beds, clean bathrooms, replace linens, dust, polish walls, check appliances, straighten furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and lounges upon request. Complete daily assignments for a minimum of eight rooms while adhering to high-quality inspection standards of at least 85%. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Follow all safety policies, report property damage or hazards, and maintain confidentiality. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 25 lbs and have the ability to carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, crawl
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Less than 1 year of Housekeeping experience
- Basic English language skills preferred- i.e. ability to understand and respond to Guest needs and follow directions
- Experience operating cleaning equipment preferred
- A passion for providing customer service
- Ability to follow hotel policies and procedures
