Job Summary
Monitor the slot machine floor during assigned shifts, supervising Slot Floor Attendants and preparing weekly schedules. Resolve customer disputes and settle fund removals, while reporting technical issues to technicians. Train and evaluate attendants, ensuring adherence to casino policies and internal control standards. Maintain floor integrity by protecting the department bankroll and completing currency transaction paperwork. Act as a host explaining machine details and assist in developing departmental procedures. Report all guest complaints and compliments to management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory experience
- Mescalero Apache Tribal preference
- Bicultural experience
- Excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Word and Excel and Power Point
- Ability to make efficient use of Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Must be able to use hand held communications devices
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for several hours
