Job Summary
Health & Safety Specialist to support and continuously improve E80 Group's Health & Safety Management System in the United States, requiring solid OSHA knowledge and technical skills in risk assessment, JHA, and safety controls for industrial and automation environments. Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA/state/federal compliance, ISO 45001 alignment, interfacing with authorities/clients/consultants, performing risk assessments and JHAs, implementing protective measures, supporting investigations, conducting safety audits and training, maintaining H&S records and KPIs, and contributing to continuous improvement. Location: Chicago, IL with up to 50% travel. DOE compensation with 80k-95k per year; requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience in a U.S. H&S role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role in the U.S. industrial or automation environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and U.S. H&S legal framework
- Proven experience in Risk Assessment, JHA, and hazard identification
- Good understanding of machinery safety, industrial installations, and work-at-height / lifting activities
- Ability to work independently on technical H&S topics
- Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Practical, problem-solving and proactive approach to safety management
