Job Summary
Analyze Sales & Profit KPIs with Visual Merchandisers to maximize selling and secure staff for execution. Manage recruitment, training, and succession planning for the Department team while delivering clear communication through daily meetings. Evaluate performance, conduct dialogues, and execute corrective actions to improve team results. Ensure store operations, safety, and security guidelines are followed, including active participation in routine tasks like garment processing and reductions. Give input on allocation and replenishment to secure garment levels and inform the Store Manager of competitor risks. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including time-off requests, pay, and employment decisions. Maintain overall store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- You have the ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
- Open availability including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer skills such as browser navigation, software interaction, and data entry are needed
- May be required to travel to support other stores and for training
- 1-2+ years of transferrable experience welcome
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to coach and counsel staff on management and progressive discipline techniques
