Gyp Stacks and Idle Plants Tech

Manage the pondwater system and gyp stacks to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance. Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot freshwater ponds, gyp stacks, lime water treatment plants, and the Heat Input system. Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling of surface and ground water, then review equipment, sample results, and pond data using an electronic database for daily operational decisions. Obtain resources, oversee field work, and coordinate onsite contractors to resolve issues while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security standards. Provide minor mechanical maintenance and operate associated equipment such as manlifts and forklifts. Identify and communicate deficiencies to appropriate personnel.
