Job Summary
AP or AP/CP board-certified pathologist sought to participate in Gynecological and/or Genitourinary pathology in an academic setting. Responsibilities include sign-out of GYN/GU pathology, shared AP call and limited autopsy coverage, teaching residents and students through sign-out, lectures, and conferences, and opportunities for involvement in translational research and medical student education. Fellowship training in the respective field is desirable, with a second area of interest in AP.
Required Qualifications
- AP or AP/CP board-certified pathology
- Fellowship training desirable but not required
- ability to participate in GYN and/or GU pathology sign-out
- teaching responsibilities including residents and medical students
- teaching activities: didactic lectures, unknown slide conference, journal club, grand rounds
- opportunities for translational research and medical student teaching
- academic appointment with rank considerations
